Open House on Monday, September 24, 5-7pm
Welcome to the start of a new academic year. The IRCPL has a full calendar of public lectures, workshops, and conferences. Rebecca Solnit kicks off our public programming for the fall with a conversation on apocalyptic predictions and the politics of the End Times. Solnit is part of a semester long series titled Apocalypse Now, which includes talks by George Dyson, Karen Thompson Walker, and Wally Broecker. Other fall events include a conversation with the artist Lino Mannocci, Jesse Jackson and Katrina vanden Heuvel speaking about race, religion, and politics in America, and a two-day conference on Indian Muslim and Hindu relations. More information about all of our events can be found here. To learn more about what we have planned and about upcoming funding opportunities for students and faculty, we invite you to join us for our Open House on Monday, September 24th from 5-7pm in the Religion Department Lounge at 80 Claremont Ave.
